What are ENABLEX side effects?
As with all prescription medicines, you may experience some side effects. The most frequently reported side effects of ENABLEX® (darifenacin) were dry mouth, constipation, indigestion, and abdominal pain.
The majority of side effects experienced when taking ENABLEX were mild or moderate and most occurred during the first 2 weeks of treatment.
Like all Overactive Bladder medicines, ENABLEX may cause other less common side effects because it belongs to a class of medicines called "anticholinergics." These may include:
- Blurred vision. Use caution while driving or doing dangerous activities until you know how ENABLEX affects you.
- Heat prostration. Heat prostration (due to decreased sweating) can occur when drugs such as ENABLEX are used in a hot environment.
Certain medical conditions can increase your risk of rare side effects. You should talk to your healthcare professional about all your medical history to be aware of any of these risks.
